She attended Barnstable High School, graduated from Dartmouth College in 1987 and earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1993. \u00a0She is admitted to practice in all Massachusetts state courts as well as the U. S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Areas of Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attorney Taylor has a long track record of success representing both individuals and businesses in a wide variety of civil actions, which has resulted in her reputation as a top Cape Cod litigation lawyer.\u00a0 Types of cases she has handled include:\u00a0 real estate disputes, eminent domain challenges, breach of contract actions, personal injury claims, probate of estates, will contests, guardianships, divorces, zoning matters and administrative appeals. \u00a0Appellate work is one of Attorney Taylor&#8217;s favorite practice areas as she enjoys legal research and writing as well as oral argument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attorney Taylor is also a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notable Successes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of Attorney\u00a0Taylor\u2019s most notable successes is a 2007 judgment in excess of $775,000 in an eminent domain action against the Town of Barnstable, which was reported in Massachusetts Lawyers\u2019 Weekly. \u00a0In that case, Attorney Taylor represented a client whose property was taken by eminent domain without adequate compensation. \u00a0Attorney Taylor overcame numerous attempts by the Town to dismiss the case before prevailing at trial. \u00a0The Town of Barnstable never made a single settlement offer in that case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community Roles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A resident of Barnstable, Attorney\u00a0Taylor currently serves as President of the Dartmouth College Club of Cape Cod.
